What's fixed

Docker: the first sign-in page no longer flickers

On a new Docker install opened from another computer on your network, 2.0.0 could flip between Unlock and Sign in many times a second and never let you sign in. It now opens on Sign in and stays there. If you hit this on 2.0.0, update the container and reload the page.

• A request without a setup token no longer uses up the install's setup

attempts (10 every 15 minutes), so you are not locked out for 15 minutes after the flicker.

Anime drops

• Numbered anime episodes such as Cowboy Bebop - 05 or Naruto - 012 now

come out ready in a drop instead of waiting in To check.

• Specials (season 0) always wait for you, in a drop and in a Library scan.

Accept all skips them.

Mixed folders

• In a dropped folder that holds Movies, TV, Anime and home videos, the

nearest Movies, TV or Anime folder decides what its files are when the file names alone are not enough.

• Dated phone and camera clips (IMG_…, VID_…) are home videos and are

always reviewed, never matched to a show.

Other fixes

• An unplugged library folder shows as offline the next time Folders reads it.
• On a drop's page, Back closes a poster or file sheet instead of leaving the

page.

• A drop's scan runs before a watched folder's catch-up, and a catch-up stops

when someone is waiting on a drop.

Faster everywhere

2.1 aims for every press to answer within one frame.

• Pages you have opened before draw at once, and Library search shows

matching titles as you type.

• Title, show and person pages, the editor, dialogs and ⌘K (Ctrl+K) open in

the frame you press.

• The desktop app shows your last screen at once on launch and starts its

server first. A new install copies a ready library instead of building one step by step.

• Inbox, Home, Folders, Sync, Activity, Settings and Help show what they

showed last while they refresh.

• Docker uses less memory when idle on a small library.

Upgrade note

2.1 updates the library database once. After that, 2.0 can't open it. MetaTana saves a Before upgrade backup first, so you can go back to 2.0 with that backup.
