Questions

Do I need an account?

Yes, on Free and Pro. MetaTana signs you in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. There is no password.

Do I need a TMDb key?

On Free, yes, but not to start. Scan first and add your own free TMDb key when you're ready. Pro uses hosted metadata, so you never need one.

If I cancel, what happens to my files?

Nothing. Your files, NFO, artwork and edits stay where they are. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then MetaTana uses your own TMDb key for new matches.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds follow our Terms and the Australian Consumer Law. Contact support with your account email and order details. Read the Terms

How do AI Vision credits work?

AI Vision uses 1 credit per file each time it returns an answer, even when it can't name the title (a failed request costs nothing). Asking again about the same file is free. Pro includes 100 credits a month, and they reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Packs of 250 for US$5 or 10,000 for US$99 are one-time purchases, do not renew automatically, and work while Pro is active.

How many devices can use Pro?

All of your own devices, desktop and Docker, signed in to the same account. Pro is for one person, not a team or a shared account.
